How can I remove human hair from mats & carpets without physically touching the hair

jellybean , Monday, 19th of July 2010 10:14:53 AM

l have 3 daughters with long hair and they all brush their hair and the
jellybean
hair comes out onto the floor, mainly onto mats & the carpets.l do vaccum

job.No matter how many times l tell the girls not to drop it on the floor

it still appears and is driving me crazy. Now l know why l keep my hair

short. Also l find hair in the shower plughole and the basin the sink. They
wo not touch it at all and it is up to me to clean it up.Just such an
annoying habit that it really gets up my goat.Other than giving them a
number 1 haircut l can not see any other solution. As per usual it is left
up to Mum to cleanup.(Interesting to see how they get on when they go
flatting).Probably think the phantom cleaner will clean up after them. />

Duct tape or lint roller.. Then maybe start leaving a lint
Kissy Boo
roller near each girl and say as you brush you can clean it up .. lol..

Vaccuming should have done the trick. You may need to replace

the rolling brush if the bristles are worn out.

Don't worry, try wide masking tape. Any hair will get stuck to

the tape. Sounds like you'd need to get a couple of rolls.

this sounds quite familiar. I have long hair & it gets

use a lint roller, that sticky thing used to get lint off of

You could use tape to pick it up. Roll up a bunch of tape and

the hair will stick to the tape.
